Seniors
and Light
Seeing better
with color-correct, full spectrum light.
Our
full spectrum lights would do well where seniors spend time and
the only light choice is fluorescent lighting. With diminished vision,
one needs all the help available. Our light increases contrast.
That means whites are whiter and blacks are blacker. This makes
it easier to see and read. The colors become more vivid which makes
for a cheerier room and environment.
According to
Dr. Sam Berman, full spectrum light is more friendly to the eye.
In short, the light allows the pupil to dilate much more responsively.
The light is
known to help people feel better. I think we all could use a little
bit of that.
